Tooling

The largest investment in any custom injection molding production run is tooling cost. Interplex’s experience and in-house value added services can keep this investment to a minimum and help you maintain a healthy bottom line.

By using mold suppliers that specialize, we are able to source higher quality molds with less lead time and fewer problems with materials. Insert molding

Plastics molding processes include insert molding, a process in which the plastic is injected into the mold around an insert, plastic or metal, that has been placed in the tooling prior to injection. The end-result is a single piece created with the insert molded directly into the plastic.
