About Interplex Plastics Inc.

Founded in 1980 with 6 machines and 2,500 sq ft of space, Interplex Plastics is a custom injection molder of thermoplastic resins for a wide variety of industries and end uses. Interplex Plastics is a division of Interplex Industries, a $300 million privately held Global Corporation. Centrally located in Lexington, KY Interplex Plastics now has 40 molding presses in service and over 25,000 sq ft of manufacturing space, featuring 5 machines in a Controlled Environment Molding Area CEMA.(3) IPI also offers a variety of secondary and assembly services in support of our core molding discipline.

Tool maintenance and repair are handled in house whenever possible in our modern tool room. (5)

Situated on over 3 acres IPI offers over 10,000 sq ft of warehouse(9) space primarily dedicated to finished goods. We also work with our customers to provide a wide range of warehousing and shipping options. Our proximity to the I-75/I-64 intersection, UPS and Federal Express hubs and several international airports offer us to multiple options for shipping to customers world wide.
